It could generate, by generating (ha, a pun!;)) a huge power surge instantaneously, a counter-effect: energy companies, thus media would demand of "eco-people" to stop this s*** and stop generating economic-loss. (SO would have to pay for the damage, ...) So save. Think. Act. But not all at once, at least not perhaps for the earth hour.
